Elephant baby born in Emmen Zoo

2008-09-04 – Emmen, Netherlands

A male calf has been born this morning at 11.30 AM in Emmen Zoo. His mother is Mingalar Oo and his father is Radza (father to seven babies, grandfather of 2 babies in Japan). Its the first time in the zoos history that a birth took place in the outside enclosure.
