Binghamton Zoo Closing For The Season

The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park will be wrapping up its 134th season this Saturday, October 31st to close for the winter.
They had the opening of our new Wonders of Nature exhibit, which houses a Snow Leopard, Cougar, Meerkats, Golden Lion Tamarins, Gila Monsters, among others.
The Zoo has also been honored to receive accreditation by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
This means that the institution is in the top 10% of all zoos and aquariums in the country.
While its last scheduled day open is tomorrow, they do plan on opening our gates if weather permits.
This will be decided on a day to day basis.
The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is proud to be an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
They are a non-profit organization dedicated to conservation, education, recreation and the exhibiting of animals in a quality manner.
