Second gorilla dies of cancer at zoo
ASHEBORO — For the second time this week, a gorilla undergoing treatment for cancer was euthanized Wednesday after N.C. Zoo veterinarians determined her health had dramatically deteriorated and would not improve.

Oklahoma City Zoo approves updates to new children’s exhibit

The Oklahoma City Zoo Trust on Wednesday approved $105,000 in changes to the zoo’s new children’s exhibit.
The additional cost is a compilation of necessary changes to the Children’s Zoo, said Tommy Bryant, zoo director of building and grounds.
